Joseph A Gatz
February 8, 1952 – May 3, 2012
Joseph Anthony Gatz, 60, was born on February 8, 1952 in Quezon City, Philippine Islands and passed away peacefully at home in Stockton, California on May 3, 2012.
He worked for the United Postal Service as a package driver for approximately 10 years and then was a member of General Teamsters Local 439 for over 18 years.
In high school Joe was an avid athletic playing football, baseball and all around sportsman. He was inducted to the A.A. Stagg Football Hall of Fame in 2010. He received Volunteer of the Year Award in 2007 from Stockton Unified School District. For the last twelve years, Joe was the Stagg Athletic Booster Club President.
Joseph is preceded in death by his loving wife Jonelle Ann Brekenfeld. He is survived by his sons Micheal and Trevor, his brother Donald, nieces and nephews and numerous people who considered him family.
